Restaurant: Impossible? Danny’s Little Taste of Texas Has Made It Possible!
Most people have heard of Robert Irvine’s show, Restaurant: Impossible on the Food Network. In only 4½ days, Danny’s Little Taste of Texas has done their version of that show with a completely renovated back section! There are now 3 huge flat screen TVs and FREE WIFI advertised everywhere! But, what’s the story behind the new tables and molding on the walls?
Thanksgiving was just around the corner and Daniel Bell, owner and operator of Danny’s Little Taste of Texas, was preparing for his family to arrive from Texas and other various locations for the Thanksgiving weekend. He felt he needed to draw in a new crowd to push his business farther into the new technology world. He has already joined Facebook and Twitter, but he asked himself, “What can I do, in-house, to build our clientele?”
His family began to brainstorm with him and they came to an agreement. They needed to install cable TVs and WIFI. But, they didn’t just stop there… They decided, instead of just purchasing tables and having them installed, they would build them! So, the Bell family and Little Taste of Texas employees got together and tore out almost two-thirds of the entire restaurant. They put down new flooring, bought new, comfortable chairs and bar stools, laid out new wall moldings, and they custom designed and built the tables! And, all of this was done in only 4½ days!
Everyone at Danny’s Little Taste of Texas would like to thank the Bell Family: Fred, Christian, Nolan, Diane, Barbra, Ilene, Daniel, Ryan, Fern, Micah and Jim Bell; Jon Treybal, Tim, Lance; all of Danny’s Little Taste of Texas employees; and the loyal customers who were supportive during the renovations. They apologize if they have missed anyone’s name.
All of these improvements look great, but don’t just take my word for it… Come on by and see the great updates Danny’s Little Taste of Texas has to offer while enjoying great, Authentic Texas Barbecue!
