Janice and Mario Cirikovic have been running the quaint Italian restaurant since 2001, bringing their family recipes to the table. While their dedication has helped the family-friendly restaurant excel, it’s with the help of others that they have become a beloved fine-dining establishment.

Manager Robert Zittoun has been working in the Farmington area for the last 30 years, and has become well known for his work in the restaurant industry. Previously working as a chef on crew ships, Zittoun has made a career for himself in the food business for about 50 years now and currently works at Italian restaurant Cugino’s of Farmington. It is here that he has truly put his skills to the test, propelling the restaurant to new heights alongside Janice and Mario Cirikovic.

Zittoun’s credentials are also noteworthy. The chef worked at The Corner House restaurant in Farmington for almost 15 years, aiding in great success for the continental dining restaurant. From there he went on to manage Piccolo Arancio for 14 years, before taking three years off and then finally joining Mario and Janice five months ago.

After being approached by Mario, who was in need for a manager, Zittounn decided that he loved being around the public and taking care of customers too much to pass it up. Taking a part time position at the Italian restaurant, Zittoun was able to have complete control over the new items on the menu, the new wine list and more. Making a name for himself in the Farmington area, people from all around now come to dine at the restaurant, many developing into regulars. His renowned management skills and the quality of the restaurant itself have helped to bring a new family-friendly dining experience to patrons.
